Mike Rosenbaum

For over forty years, Mike Rosenbaum has represented businesses and injured people. During this time, Mike has received Martindale-Hubbell's highest ranking in their peer-reviewed national directory for lawyers. Mike founded this office over thirty years ago and in that time he has successfully represented thousands of clients. His emphasis is on personal injury, products liability, wrongful death, and general business litigation (which he does for his clients and other lawyers.)

Mike grew up in Carver, Oregon, a small town outside of Portland near the Clackamas River. He attended Carver Grade School and then St. Johns Grade School in Oregon City. Mike graduated from Central Catholic High School where he was elected student body president in 1968. In 1967 he was elected Beaver Boys State Governor for the State of Oregon.

Mike moved to the east coast for college and graduated with honors from Harvard College (1972) and Columbia Law School (1975). During this time, he was one of two Oregon finalists in the Rhodes Scholarship competition. After graduating from Columbia Law School he clerked with the Honorable Otto R. Skopil in the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon. Following his judicial clerkship, Mike practiced in the litigation department of Stoel Rives before going into private practice for himself.

Mike is currently a member of the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association, the Multnomah Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. In the past, Mike has been a member of the Multnomah Bar Association CLE Committee and a frequent speaker at CLEs on litigation related subjects. On a national level, he was the Chairperson for the American Bar Association Committee on State Legislation.

In his free time, Mike enjoys spending time with family and friends, whitewater rafting, hiking, skiing, and assisting his wife Sherie in overseeing their restaurant, The Stone Cliff Inn.

Ashley Rosenbaum-DePalo is a trial lawyer within the Rosenbaum Law Group.  After graduating from the Willamette University College of Law, she immediately joined our team.  In her time here, she has successfully tried, advocated, and resolved hundreds of cases against insurance companies and those who have negligently or intentionally injured innocent people.

Ashley's experience with the Rosenbaum Law Group includes representing victims from car crashes, bike injuries, pedestrian injuries, product liability claims, wrongful death claims, and premises liability claims.  During law school, she externed for Judge Janice Wilson in the Multnomah County Circuit Court and clerked at our firm.

Ashley Rosenbaum-DePalo is Mike Rosenbaum's daughter.  Because she was raised around our practice, the passion to represent injured victims is in her DNA.  She grew up in Carver, Oregon and attended Clackamas High School where she played basketball and volleyball.  She attended Occidental College where she continued to play both sports at the collegiate level.  In her free time, Ashley enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, boating, rafting, and exploring Portland's culinary scene.

Aaron Reichenberger

Aaron Reichenberger is a trial lawyer within the Rosenbaum Law Group.  He represents injured people and their families in their personal injury or wrongful death claims against insurance companies and wrongdoers, and other various legal matters that arise in their lives.

Before joining the Rosenbaum Law Group as an attorney, Aaron worked for six years as a paralegal at our firm.  During this time he observed and recognized the powerful role lawyers can play in obtaining justice for people whose lives are turned upside down because of another person's negligence.  He attended the Willamette University College of Law with the goal of becoming a lawyer who helps people, not corporations like insurance companies.  At Willamette, he served as the Editor in Chief of the Willamette Law Review and graduated Magna Cum Laude.  Because of the above, Aaron possesses a unique blend of legal, practical, and administrative experience that enables him to effectively represent his clients.

Since rejoining the Rosenbaum Law Group, Aaron has successfully represented hundreds of victims in their claims against insurance companies or wrongdoers.  He believes his representation should provide three primary benefits to his clients: 1) navigating the complicated and confusing world of insurance claims on their behalf; 2) placing his clients in the best possible position to focus on recovering from their physical, mental, and emotional injuries; and 3) maximizing the compensation his clients obtain from the wrongdoer's insurance company.

Outside the office, Aaron enjoys spending time with his family; reading; cooking; playing futsal and soccer; riding his bike and hiking; and rooting for the Timbers, Arsenal Football Club, and Denver Broncos.  RCTID.

Gretchen Mandekor

Gretchen Mandekor is an accomplished, well-respected trial lawyer who specializes in representing plaintiffs in personal injury lawsuits and the defense of legal malpractice matters.  Over her career, she has successfully tried dozens of jury trials in both state and federal court.  Before joining Rosenbaum Law Group, Gretchen founded and managed her own law firm from 2007 through 2014 after working at a large defense litigation firm in downtown Portland.

Gretchen’s extensive experience representing insurance companies and their policyholders for almost two decades on the defense side is a unique asset in representing injured people.  She knows how insurance companies work and how to defend against our clients’ cases, which provides her valuable insight she uses to benefit her clients.  She thoroughly enjoys helping injured individuals receive the compensation they deserve after experiencing trauma due to the fault of others.

Due to her reputation among her peers and her trial experience, Gretchen is frequently asked to serve as an arbitrator in personal injury disputes and a speaker on various litigation topics at continuing legal education classes for lawyers. While her primary focus is representing clients, she finds serving in these roles as decision-maker and educator make her a better trial lawyer.

Although born and raised in Vancouver, BC, Canada, Gretchen considers herself a third-generation Oregonian due to her roots in Corvallis, where her mother grew up and her parents married.  Gretchen is a dual national and fluent in French.  She attended McGill University in Montreal where she earned her undergraduate degree in Latin with First Class Honours.  During summer and winter breaks from college, she worked at a grain elevator doing heavy physical labor.  She attended the University of Oregon School of Law on a scholarship and obtained her law degree with a certificate in International Law.  During law school, she completed an internship in Senegal, West Africa.

In her free time, Gretchen enjoys hiking, bird watching, reading, barre classes, cheering on her younger daughter at soccer games, and volunteering as a judge at her older daughter’s speech and debate tournaments.
